At Vana Solutions, I help launch new products and maintain legacy ones using a variety of tools. We develop software using SCRUM and Agile methodologies, resulting in focused results and growth. I work in both development and design, focusing on interactive implementations to launch valuable and usable products. Along with developing web-based products, I also managed to:                                                   

• Addressed as Project Lead Developer, the need to create a custom CMS for an enterprise section of the AFRL with Java Spring Boot Web App Development and Oracle SQL DB; which includes a HUB that serves as a central communication space for technology arms

• Mobile iOS App Development with Swift for a commercial retail contract building a POS (Point of Sale) System for iPads

• Cloud migration of a legacy app, refactored the codebase in Classic ASP to be compatible with Azure, and refactored the SQL server to be compatible with Azure SQL

• Assessed as Project Lead Developer to improve scalability and code performance of an AFRL application, which required heavy equations analysis to show analytical graphics on data processing KPIs; and enhanced speed performance on the first load and continued load, improving general cache

• Developed web applications using SharePoint, and its Restful APIs, AngularJS, React, and TypeScript. Using SCRUM/Agile software development practices within stakeholders’ organizations while participating in project decisions and solutions

I worked as Lead Software Engineer at Think Telic, a Digital Product Firm where we work with small to medium-sized businesses to help integrate modern technology platforms into their business.  Clients have been in pharmacy management solutions, entertainment, marketing, and art industries.  I’ve had the opportunity to develop several custom web products, mobile apps, and cloud software and services.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

• I led, developed, built, and managed the OnTime Pharmacy mobile app and pharmacy platform
• I built the solution API first;
  • Monolithic REST API built on NodeJS, My SQL
  • Hosted on AWS EC2 Instance using AWS S3 Bucket for secure encrypted storage
  • For management, I created a single web application using React and Typescript
  • I created two versions for the mobile application: the main mobile application allows several pharmacies to be in the same app; another allows for a white-label product.  With the same core as the main app, the difference being to permit data extraction, I developed an API Key Communication between the REST API and the mobile app

Developed web application using: PHP (Laravel), MySQL, Node JS (Nest JS), HTML | CSS (SASS, Bulma), JavaScript (Vue JS, React); WordPress custom theme development and WordPress APIs (Headless CMS) using Next JS, React, GraphQL, and TypeScript.

I worked with StayTuned, a YouTube Partner, to help modernize its technology stack and level up its team and customers with a goal-focused custom web application.                                                                                                                                        

The software allowed company management to have a central place where their customers uploaded files and documentation, and all the data was automatically classified.  The customers could upload media files, have a customizable profile, and receive a monthly report that they could download or print; this report was also automatically saved to their profiles.  This software allowed for better management and simplified building rapport with their customers. 

• Within this system:
  • Architecture and developed the dashboard for both partners and admins
  • Worked the cloud computing configuration and setup using Laravel Forge and Digital Ocean
  • Web Security (encryption on transit and on rest, hashing, and token)
  • File storage management and encryption using AWS s3 Bucket

OnTime Soft, Inc. is one of the most reliable community pharmacy service providers in Puerto Rico. They are conscious of the current changes in the digital space and the pharmacy industry. I partner with them to renew their online presence to impact pharmacy owners, employees, and future Pharmacists.

I developed a Learning Management System (web app development, dashboard design, admin and user log-in systems) used by their clients (pharmacy owners), students, and professionals Pharmacist, allowing them to learn more about processes and best practices.

• Within this system:
  • I designed and developed a full-stack application to display videos, classes, and courses
  • Developed a data visualization tool that analyzed the employee’s courses progress
  • and configured Cloud computing services (DNS, SSL, and subscriptions)

Additionally, I designed and developed a custom corporate website with a custom-built CMS and Landing Page Generator, so they can continuously add new workshops and promote them independently,

• Within this system:
  • I developed a custom URL shortening to help them share articles and workshop registration forms
  • and developed a custom CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to keep a safe and well-structured client database

As a freelancer, I’ve worked in all production aspects of web apps, SAAS, APIs, among others. From brainstorming, defining requirements, structuring architecture to developing the Front and Back-End while working with engineers, designers, product owners, and business people to make sure everything comes together. I’ve provided support to various businesses, developing tools that helped companies achieve long-term success; some of them:

• Developed a complete e-commerce back-end system solution to help an established distributor reach more customers and expand their business online
• Created a WordPress plugging that helped a group of artists gain more subscribers and expand their network
  Managed code reviews and consulted startups and solo pressures
• Contributed, developed, and designed a variety of web applications, tools, and APIs
